BHV Co Pty Ltd (ABN 74 694 603 033) (“BHV Co”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website bhvco.com.au (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access or correct your information or make a complaint.

1. What information we collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

•     Identity and contact details – your name, email address, phone number and delivery and billing addresses.

•     Order and transaction information – details of products you purchase, order history, and subscription preferences. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment providers; we do not store your full credit card or bank account numbers on our systems.

•     Account information – login details and preferences if you create a customer account.

•     Communications – records of your correspondence with us, including customer service enquiries, product reviews and feedback. If you voluntarily share health-related information with us (for example, in a review or enquiry), we treat it with additional care and only use it to respond to you.

2. How we collect it

•     Shopify Payments and other payment processors and financial institutions that process your payments;

•     Australia Post and other delivery and fulfilment partners, so your order can reach you;

•     our email and SMS marketing platform (such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp), where you have subscribed to our communications or made a purchase;

•     analytics and advertising providers, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok advertising platforms;

•     our professional advisers (such as accountants, lawyers and IT providers); and

•     government agencies, regulators or law enforcement where required or authorised by law.

These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including Shopify and certain marketing and analytics platforms) store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your cart, keep you logged in, understand how the Site is used and deliver relevant advertising. This includes Google Analytics (to measure how visitors use the Site) and the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel (to measure the performance of our advertising and show you relevant ads on those platforms). You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can control ad personalisation through your Google, Meta and TikTok account settings; however, some parts of the Site may not function properly without cookies.
